How to Adopt

At Outkittened, we believe every kitten deserves a loving, safe forever home. Our adoption
process is designed to ensure each match is a good fit - for both the kitten and the adopter.
Adoption made easyin 8 steps!

Step 1
Send an email to adopt@outkittened.co.za and include the number on the kitten's adoption poster (see our Facebook page for recent posts of available kittens).

Step 2
Fill out and submit the adoption application form and required documents.
(Izanne will send you these upon application as they are always being updated)

Step 3
Meet the kitten.

Step 4
Have a virtual home inspection over video call.

Step 5
After pre-approval, sign and submit the adoption contracts.

Step 6
Pay the adoption fee of R900 and send the POP to the foster parent.

Step 7
Register the kitten's microchip under your name.

Step 8
After final approval, arrange to collect your kitten in a cat carrier.
Our fosters are with you every step of the way and will guide you through the adoption process!
R900 Adoption Fee Includes:
- Kitten’s first vaccination
- Deworming
- Tick and flea treatment
- FIV & FELV testing
- Microchip
- Sterilization at 4 months
Required Documents:
- Copy of ID
- Proof of Residence (not older than 3 months)
- Copy of all current pets’ vet books with vaccinations and sterilization status
- Permission letter from landlord/ HOA/ Body Corporate if renting or living in a complex/ estate
