Please note that only kittens who are posted as available for adoption can be applied for, and we do not allow kittens to be reserved before they are officially available for adoption. We work on a first come, first serve basis and the first application that is submitted after a kitten has gone up for adoption, will be processed first.

If you are interested in an available kitten, please contact the number on the relevant kitten's adoption post to apply for adoption. If you are interested in a kitten that is not available yet, please keep an eye out on our page to see when the kitten goes up for adoption.

Our adoption fee is R900, and it includes:

• Vaccination(s) up to date
• Deworming up to date
• Flea and tick treatment
• Sterilisation
• Microchip
• Testing for FIV (Feline Aids) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus)

Please take a look at our "Adoptable" highlight on Instagram or our "Available for Adoption" album on Facebook to see which kittens are available for adoption. Once a kitten has been checked by the vet, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and is healthy, their adoption poster will be posted on our social media page. You can then contact the number on the adoption poster to apply to adopt the kitten. If you are unsure whether a kitten is available or not, feel free to ask us!

For emergencies such as with an ill or injured kitten/cat, please contact your nearest vet or SPCA for assistance.

If the kitten is under 12 weeks old or if it is a mom and babies, please send us the following details:

• Pictures of each kitten
• Your area
• Your contact number
• Where you found them
• Any other relevant information

We will then find out if we have any fosters available to take the kitten(s) in and get back to you.

If the kittens are above 12 weeks old, we will provide a list of other rescue organisations that can be contacted.

To foster, you need a spare bedroom or bathroom to keep the kittens in, a semi-flexible schedule and some free time, as well as reliable transport. We provide all the cat food and cover all vet expenses. No previous experience is needed and we provide you with training and guidance. We would love to have you on our team!

People can only apply to adopt a kitten once the kitten is posted as available for adoption on our page. Once a kitten is posted as available, people may apply to adopt the kitten by contacting the foster parent via the number on the post. The foster will send you the application forms and guide you through the process. We work on a first come first serve basis: the first complete application to be submitted will be processed first.

We are a foster-based organisation, and we don’t have a single fixed physical location or shelter. Our kittens are raised in different foster homes in and around Pretoria and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Your kitten/cat will be “booked” after the adoption has been approved and the adoption fees have been paid. Once the kitten is at least 8 weeks old, weighs at least 800g, and is otherwise healthy, they can go to their forever homes. Depending on how long it takes you to submit the forms and the availability of board members to approve the application, it usually takes a week for the application to be finalised.
